In 2012, I decided to join the fast-growing industry of wedding photography. Alongside my partner, Paul, we photographed for six years. From there I finally used my degree and became an elementary teacher. Now, I'm back home working as an artist. I love what I do and it's an honor to share it with you.
My desk is typically housing paint palettes, mugs of some sort of hot drink, candles, incense, or a diffuser; there are jars filled with all kinds of paint brushes, canvases to paint on hide under my shelves until I'm ready to think about nothing an simply paint. My main creative project is the yearly watercolor calendar. When that is not on my plate, I'm working on other projects that can be used to fill others' lives with beauty, goodness, and truth.
In my spare time, I'm usually adding another rosebush to the garden, sipping tea or a mocha with a stack of library books nearby or writing. Or taking a walk with Paul and our three yorkies — Rusty, Ethel, Rosie (our sweet Lucy is waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge) — through the cottage-lined streets of our neighborhood, out to the lake with the skyline of Minneapolis in view.
I'm so thrilled you're here, friend. Take time to peruse the website, or head to the blog where I write about life on this side of the screen.
