In 2012, I decided to join the fast-growing industry of wedding photography. Alongside my husband, we photographed for six years. Now that we no longer photograph weddings, I sell my photos in my online shop and just enjoy photographing florals, landscapes, and of course, my darling yorkies.
In 2014, on a rainy afternoon, I purchased my first watercolor set and decided to chase a long-awaited dream. After trying many different things, I've found so much joy in creating calendars and wall art with my paints. I sell my products in my store and paint occasional commission prints as well. Feel free to visit my portfolio to see more.
I developed a love for graphic design during my years of photography when I needed to create a brand for myself. I took continuing education classes in graphic design and web design, and use those skills to create calendars, illustrations, and other designs.
In my spare time, I'm usually adding another rosebush to the garden, sipping tea with a Harry Potter book in hand, writing, or taking a walk with my darling husband and three yorkies.
I'm so thrilled you're here, friend. Take time to peruse the website, or even head to the blog where I write about life on this side of the screen. xoxo
I'm Nikki, a creative, a dreamer, and an old soul.
